Request for Letters of Intent Proposing Research on Gratitude in the Human Sciences

The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley, in collaboration with the University of California, Davis, recently announced a $3 million research initiative, Expanding the Science and Practice of Gratitude. The initiative is funded with a $5.6M grant from the Templeton Foundation. The center is now accepting letters of intent proposing research on gratitude in the human sciences. Up to 13 grants (no more than 3 at up to $500,000 and no more than 10 at up to $200,000), not to exceed $3 million, will be awarded in this competition in 2012.
